오늘의 단상_결혼앞둔 자녀에게 (1)

 

자녀의 결혼을 생각하면서 많은 것을 살펴보게 되었습니다. 지난날 내가 가정을 갖게되기까지의 여러가지 크고 작은 일들이 쉬임없이 스쳐지나갑니다. 모든 것이 하나님의 뜻이라고 덮어놓고 지나가기에는 아주 많은 선택의 기회를 앞에 놓으셨던 하나님을 생각하게 되었습니다. 과연 그 하나 하나의 선택마저 하나님이 하신 것인지 아니면 내가 첫 번째 것이 아닌 두 번째, 혹은 셋 번째를 선택해 놓고 하나님이 하신 것이라고 우기고있지는 않는지 자문해 보지만 양단간 어느것도 명확하게 드러나지 않고 있슴을 고백합니다.

 

하지만 나와 혹은 주변에서 관찰한 사례를 보면서 나의 자녀와 자녀의 배우자가 될 사람에게는 적어도 아래와 같은 문제에 대하여 진실하게 짚어보고, 고백하는 시간이 있었으면 하는 바람이 있습니다.

 

우리는 어디에서 와서, 왜 이렇게 살고, 어디를 향해서 가는지, 기본적이지만 또한 근본적인 질문에 대답하는 진지한 모습이 있어야 할 것입니다. 이에 대한 대답을 찾아가는 과정에서 창조주 하나님말씀에 선명하게 기록되어 있는 성경구절들을 붙잡고 씨름하는 시간들이 있었으면 좋겠습니다.

 

아주 많은 성경구절들이 있지만 소제목과 같은 기준에 의거하여 부분적으로 선정하였으며, 시리즈로 기록해 갈 것임을 말씀드립니다.

 

1. God, Creator exists

하나님 계심을 아는가 ?

하나님 계심여부에 관심이 있는가 ?

하나님 존재에 어느정도 알고 있는가 ?

하나님 존재에 대한 지식이 몇 점이나 될까요?

 

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)

"태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라." (창세기 1:1)

 

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" (Romans 1:20)

 

"창세로부터 그의 보이지 아니하는 것들 곧 그의 영원하신 능력과 신성이 그가 만드신 만물에 분명히 보여 알려졌나니 그러므로 그들이 핑계치 못할지니라." (로마서 1:20)

 

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

 

"믿음이 없이는 기쁘시게 못하나니 하나님께 나아가는 자는 반드시 그가 계신 것과 또한 그가 자기를 찾는 자들에게 상 주시는 이심을 믿어야 할찌니라." (히브리서 11:6)

 

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Psalm 19:1)

 

"하늘이 하나님의 영광을 선포하고 궁창이 그의 손으로 하신 일을 나타내는도다." (시편 19:1)

 

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:" (Isaiah 55:6)

 

"너희는 여호와를 만날 만한 때에 찾으라 가까이 계실 때에 그를 부르라." (이사야 55:6)

 

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

 

"너희가 전심으로 나를 찾고 찾으면 나를 만나리라." (예레미야 29:13)

 

"That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:" (Acts 17:27)

 

"이는 사람으로 하나님을 혹 더듬어 찾아 발견케 하려 하심이로되 그는 우리 각 사람에게서 멀리 떠나 계시지 아니하도다." (사도행전 17:27)

 

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." (1 Corinthians 13:12)

 

"우리가 이제는 거울로 보는 것같이 희미하나 그 때에는 얼굴과 얼굴을 대하여 볼 것이요 이제는 내가 부분적으로 아나 그 때에는 주께서 나를 아신 것같이 내가 온전히 알리라." (고린도전서 13:12)

 

"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33)

 

"깊도다 하나님의 지혜와 지식의 부요함이여, 그의 판단은 측량치 못할 것이며 그의 길은 찾지 못할 것이로다." (로마서 11:33)

 

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 55:8)

 

"여호와의 말씀에 내 생각은 너희 생각과 다르며 내 길은 너희 길과 달라서" (이사야 55:8)

 

2.  하늘, 땅, 바다, 그가운데 있는 모든 것이 하나님뜻에 따라 만드셨다는 것을 알고 있나요

 

"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" (Colossians 1:16)

 

"만물이 그에 의해 창조되되 하늘과 땅에서 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 혹은 왕권들이나 주권들이나 통치자들이나 권세들이나 만물이 다 그로 말미암고 그를 위하여 창조되었고" (골로새서 1:16)

 

"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:11)

 

"우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 능력을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니 주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다." (요한계시록 4:11)

 

3. 하나님뜻이 하늘에서 이루어진 것같이 이땅에서도 이루어질 것을 알고있나요

 

"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

 

"나라이 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다." (마태복음 6:10)

 

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 11:15)

 

"일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불매 하늘에 큰 음성들이 나서 가로되 세상 나라가 우리 주와 그 그리스도의 나라가 되어 그가 세세토록 왕노릇 하시리로다 하니" (요한계시록 11:15)

 

4. 결국 예수 그리스도의 발아래 하늘, 땅, 바다, 그 가운데 있는 것들이 하나같이 굴복하게 될 것을 알고 있는가

 

"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" (Philippians 2:10)

 

"이는 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고" (빌립보서 2:10)

 

"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." (Revelation 5:13)

 

"내가 또 들으니 하늘 위에와 땅 위에와 땅 아래와 바다 위에와 또 그 가운데 모든 만물이 가로되 보좌에 앉으신 이와 어린 양에게 찬송과 존귀와 영광과 능력을 세세토록 돌릴찌어다 하니" (요한계시록 5:13)

 

5. 하나님은 멀리계시지 않고 항상 우리곁 가까운 곳에 계심을 믿어야 한다

 

"Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?" (Jeremiah 23:23)

 

"나 여호와가 말하노라 나는 가까운 데 하나님이요 먼 데 하나님은 아니냐" (예레미야 23:23)

 

"That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:" (Acts 17:27)
