   • 53: "the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb and the leopard shall lie down with the kid and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together and a little child shall lead them and the cow and the bear shall feed their young one shall lie down together and the lion shall eat straw like the ox and the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp and the wean child shall put his hand on the cockatrist den" Isaiah 11:es 6-8
   • 54: "the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it the excellency of Carmel and Sharon they shall see the glory of the Lord and the excellency of our God say to them that are of a fearful heart Be strong fear not behold your God will come with vengeance even God with a recompense he will come and save you." Isaiah 35:es 1 and 2 4-7 and 10
   • 55: "For the creature was made subject to vanity not willingly but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" Romans 8:20 and 21
   • 56: "for behold I create new heavens and a new earth and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind the wolf and the lamb shall feed together and the lion shall eat straw like the bulock and dust shall be the serpent's meat they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain saith the Lord" Isaiah 65:17 and 25
10. Every knee will bend and acknowledge Jesus as Lord.
    • 57: "i have sworn by myself the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness and shall not return that unto me every knee shall bow every tongue shall swear" Isaiah 45:23
    • 58: "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:es 10 and 11
    • 59: "for it is written as I live saith the Lord every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God" Romans 14:11

These ten spectacular events happen at and immediately following the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the 7-year tribulation. They were not fulfilled at Jesus' first coming but will be at his second coming. The wicked will mourn at Jesus appearing. The second coming is prophecy written by all the Old Testament prophets. It involves Jesus returning visibly and gloriously on a white horse, with angelic armies, to rescue Israel, judge nations and make war on Israel's enemies, and returning to the Mount of Olives.

 

Here are ten key events that will happen at the rapture of the church, according to the pre-tribulational view held by the speaker and many evangelical Christians:

1. The Lord himself will descend from heaven. Jesus will leave heaven and personally come in the clouds to gather his saints, remaining in the air; he does not touch down on the Mount of Olives as he does at his second coming.
   • 60: "for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven" 1 Thessalonians 4:16
2. A shout, the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God. A divine call will go forth, loud and unmistakable, to summon the redeemed.
   • 61: "With a shout with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God" first Thessalonians 4:16
3. The dead in Christ will rise first. All dead believers sealed by the Holy Spirit into the church, the body of Christ, will be resurrected in glorified bodies.
   • 62: "and the dead in Christ shall rise first" 1 Thessalonians 4:16
4. Living believers will be caught up (raptured). All living Christians will be instantly snatched up, translated without dying.
   • 63: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up" 1 Thessalonians 4:17
5. The church will meet the Lord in the air. The entire church, both resurrected and transformed, will meet Christ above the earth in the air.
   • 64: "together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air" first Thessalonians 4:17
6. Believers will be transformed with glorified bodies. Each saint receives an immortal, incorruptible body fit for eternity.
   • 65: "we shall all be changed" 1 Corinthians 15:51
   • 66: "who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body" philippians 3:21
7. The rapture will be instantaneous. The transformation and gathering of believers will occur in a split second.
   • 67: "in the twinkling of an eye" 1 Corinthians 15:52
8. The church will be delivered from wrath. The rapture removes the church from the earth before God's judgment falls in the tribulation. Israel, in contrast, goes through the tribulation to purge apostates and refine the righteous elect.
   • 68: "even Jesus which delivered us from the wrath to come" first Thessalonians 1:10
   • 69: "much more then being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him" romans 5:9
   • 70: "for God hath not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" 1 Thessalonians 5:9
9. The rapture was a mystery. The rapture doctrine was not revealed in scripture prior to Jesus revealing it to the apostle Paul; it was "hid in God".
   • 71: "behold I show you a mystery" 1 Corinthians 15:51
   • 72: "and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God who created all things by Jesus Christ" ephesians 3:9
10. Believers will forever be with the Lord in heaven. From that moment on, the church, the body of Christ, will never be separated from Christ again, being with the Lord in heavenly places, not an earthly kingdom.
    • 73: "and so shall we ever be with the Lord" 1 Thessalonians 4:17
    • 74: "blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" ephesians 1:3
    • 75: "and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" ephesians 2:6
    • 76: "for we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved we have a building of God and house not made with hands eternal in the heavens" 2 Corinthians 5:1

The rapture is described as a time of great joy and comfort. It happens prior to the day of the Lord, the 7-year tribulation. The events of Jesus' second coming pertain to everything on earth, including Israel, the Antichrist, the battle of Armageddon, the judgment of nations, the resurrection of the just, the imprisonment of Satan, and the millennial kingdom. In contrast, the rapture pertains solely to the church, the body of Christ.
