오늘은 성경이 말하는 "참된 교회"에 대해 이야기해보려고 해요. 많은 사람들이 교회를 건물로 생각하지만, 성경은 전혀 다른 개념을 우리에게 가르칩니다. 지금부터 성경 구절들을 통해 참된 교회에 대해 알아보겠습니다.

1. 하나된 몸, 하나된 교회

에베소서 4:4-6*

 

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."*

 

(몸이 하나요 성령도 한 분이시니, 이는 너희가 너희의 부르심의 한 소망 안에서 부르심을 받은 것 같이 주도 한 분이시요 믿음도 하나요 침례도 하나이며, 모든 것 위에 계시고 모든 것을 통하여 계시고 너희 모두 안에 계신 하나님 곧 모든 것의 아버지도 한 분이시니라.)

2. 복음의 비밀

에베소서 3:5-6*

 

"Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel."*

 

(이 신비는 다른 시대들에서는 사람들의 아들들에게 알려지지 아니하였으나 이제 그의 거룩한 사도들과 대언자들에게 성령을 통해 계시되었으니, 곧 이방인들이 복음을 통해 그리스도 안에서 함께 상속자가 되고 같은 몸의 지체가 되며 그의 약속에 참여하는 자가 되는 것이라.)

3. 교회의 머리이신 그리스도

에베소서 1:22-23*

 

"And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."*

 

(또 모든 것을 그의 발아래 두시고 그를 모든 것 위에 교회의 머리로 주셨느니라. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만이니라.)

4. 그리스도의 몸

고린도전서 12:12*

 

"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ."*

 

(몸은 하나이며 많은 지체를 가졌고 한 몸에 지체가 많으나 그 모든 지체가 한 몸인 것 같이 그리스도도 그러하시니라.)

5. 우리가 그리스도의 몸이라

고린도전서 12:27*

 

"Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular."*

 

(이제 너희는 그리스도의 몸이요 개별적으로 지체들이니라.)

 

6. 교회의 완성

에베소서 1:22-23*

 

"And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."*

 

(또 모든 것을 그의 발아래 두시고 그를 모든 것 위에 교회의 머리로 주셨느니라. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만이니라.)

7. 율법에서 자유롭게

로마서 7:4*

 

"Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God."*

 

(그러므로 나의 형제들아, 너희도 그리스도의 몸으로 말미암아 법에 대하여 죽임을 당하였나니 이것은 너희가 다른 이 곧 죽은 자들로부터 일으켜진 이에게 시집가게 하려 함이며 또 우리가 하나님께 이르는 열매를 맺게 하려 함이라.)

8. 살아있는 유기체

에베소서 1:22-23*

 

"...and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."*

 

(또 모든 것을 그의 발아래 두시고 그를 모든 것 위에 교회의 머리로 주셨느니라. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만이니라.)

9. 영적 생명

에베소서 5:23*

 

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."*

 

(남편이 아내의 머리인 것 같이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리시니 그가 몸의 구주시니라.)

10. 교회의 의미

요한복음 4:15-20*

 

"The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.' Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.' The woman answered and said, I have no husband.' Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.' The woman saith unto him, `Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.'"*

 

(그 여자가 그분께 이르되, 주여, 이 물을 내게 주소서. 그러면 내가 목마르지도 아니하고 여기에 물을 길으러 오지도 아니하겠나이다, 하매, 예수님께서 그녀에게 이르시되, 가서 네 남편을 부르고 이리 오라, 하시니 여자가 대답하여 이르되, 나는 남편이 없나이다, 하매, 예수님께서 그녀에게 이르시되, 네가 나는 남편이 없나이다, 한 말이 옳도다. 너에게 남편 다섯이 있었고 지금 있는 자도 네 남편이 아니니 네가 참으로 말하였도다, 하시니 여자가 그분께 이르되, 주여, 내가 보니 당신은 대언자시로소이다. 우리 조상들은 이 산에서 경배하였거늘 당신들은 사람들이 예루살렘에서 경배해야 한다고 말하나이다.)

 

11. 교회의 머리

에베소서 5:23-24*

 

"...even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything."*

 

(남편이 아내의 머리인 것 같이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리시니 그가 몸의 구주시니라. 그러므로 교회가 그리스도께 복종하듯이 아내들도 모든 일에서 자기 남편에게 복종할지니라.)

12. 참된 신자들

에베소서 5:23*

 

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."*

 

(남편이 아내의 머리인 것 같이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리시니 그가 몸의 구주시니라.)

13. 한 몸

고린도전서 12:12*

(몸은 하나이며 많은 지체를 가졌고 한 몸에 지체가 많으나 그 모든 지체가 한 몸인 것 같이 그리스도도 그러하시니라.)

14. 교회의 유기적 연결

15. 영적 열매

로마서 7:4*

17. 참된 믿음의 공동체

에베소서 5:23-24*

 

"...even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything."*

 

(남편이 아내의 머리인 것 같이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리시니 그가 몸의 구주시니라. 그러므로 교회가 그리스도께 복종하듯이 아내들도 모든 일에서 자기 남편에게 복종할지니라.)

 

이처럼 교회는 단순한 건물이 아니라, 그리스도를 머리로 한 살아있는 유기체입니다. 우리는 모두 이 몸의 지체로서 서로를 돕고, 그리스도의 사랑 안에서 하나로 연합해야 합니다. 이러한 교회의 진정한 의미를 깨닫고, 우리 각자가 그리스도의 몸으로서의 역할을 다할 수 있기를 바랍니다.
