오늘의 단상_자유의지

안녕하세요? 어제 저녁 늦은시간까지 하나님말씀 함께 공부할 수 있어서 고마웠고, 제게 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 저에게 질문하셨던 "자유의지에 대한 나의생각"에 대하여  오늘 다시 한번 생각해 보는 시간을 갖게 되었습니다. 그리고 체계적으로  정리할 필요가 있어서  관련 성경구절들을 세밀하게 찾아 보았습니다. 아직은 미완의 상태이지만 공유하고 싶어서 보내드립니다. 구두로 설명드린 성경구절들을 포함하여 아래와 같이 정리하였습니다. 하지만 이 구절들은  지극히 저의  주관적인 기준으로 선정되었다는 것을 미리 말씀드리며, 혹시 생각하시는 또다른 구절이 있다면  함께 공유해 주시길 기대합니다.

KJV성경에서 말씀하시는 인간의 자유의지에 대해 살펴 보았습니다. 성경은 우리에게 선택의 자유가 있음을 보여주지만, 동시에 그것이 조건부적이며 우리의 선택에 대한 책임이 따른다는 것도 가르쳐 줍니다. 하나님의 주권과 인간의 책임 사이의 균형을 이해하는 것은 중요하다고 생각합니다. 비록 하나님의 모든 계획을 완전히 이해할 수는 없지만, 창조주 하나님은 우리의 구원에 필요한 핵심적인 진리들을 계시로 말씀해 주셨습니다(신 29:29). 이제 이 주제에 관한 주요 성경 구절들을 살펴보겠습니다. 이를 통해 은혜복음과 하나님 아는 지식에서 더욱 성장하시길 소망합니다.

 

Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV): "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."Korean (KRV): "은밀한 일은 우리 하나님 여호와께 속하였거니와 계시된 일은 우리와 우리 자손에게 속하여 영원히 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 행하게 하려 함이니라"

1. "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps." (Proverbs 16:9) "사람이 마음으로 자기의 길을 계획할지라도 그의 걸음을 인도하는 이는 {주}시니라." (잠언 16:9)
2. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" (Deuteronomy 30:19) "내가 이 날 하늘과 땅을 불러 너희에게 증거로 삼노라. 내가 생명과 사망과 복과 저주를 너희 앞에 두었나니 그러므로 너희와 네 씨가 살기 위하여 생명을 택하라." (신명기 30:19)
3. "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15) "만일 {주}를 섬기는 것이 너희에게 나쁘게 보이거든 너희 조상들이 강 저편에서 섬기던 신들이든지 혹은 너희가 거하고 있는 땅의 아모리 족속의 신들이든지 너희가 섬길 자를 너희를 위해 이 날 택하라. 그러나 나와 내 집으로 말하건대 우리는 {주}를 섬기겠노라, 하매" (여호수아 24:15)
4. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) "¶ [하나님]께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 자신의 독생자를 주셨으니 이것은 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 멸망하지 않고 영존하는 생명을 얻게 하려 하심이라." (요한복음 3:16)
5. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) "누구든지 [주]의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라." (로마서 10:13)
6. "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Revelation 20:12) "또 내가 보니 죽은 자들이 작은 자나 큰 자나 할 것 없이 [하나님] 앞에 서 있는데 책들이 펴져 있고 또 다른 책이 펴져 있었으니 곧 생명책이라. 죽은 자들이 자기 행위들에 따라 책들에 기록된 것들에 근거하여 심판을 받았더라." (요한계시록 20:12)
7. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8) "너희가 믿음을 통해 은혜로 구원을 받았나니 그것은 너희 자신에게서 난 것이 아니요 [하나님]의 선물이니라." (에베소서 2:8)
8. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20) "보라, 내가 문에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그와 함께 만찬을 먹고 그는 나와 함께 먹으리라." (요한계시록 3:20)
9. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) "¶ 수고하고 무거운 짐 진 모든 자들아, 너희는 내게로 오라. 내가 너희에게 안식을 주리라." (마태복음 11:28)
10. "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17) "성령과 신부가 말씀하시기를, 오라, 하시는도다. 듣는 자도, 오라, 할 것이요, 목마른 자도 올 것이요, 또 누구든지 원하는 자는 값없이 생명수를 취하라, 하시더라." (요한계시록 22:17)"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37)

 

Deuteronomy 30:19 strongly emphasizes human responsibility and the concept of free will:

 

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

 

This verse suggests several key points about human responsibility and free will:

1. God presents a clear choice: The verse explicitly states that God has set before the people two options - life and death, blessing and cursing.
2. Human agency in decision-making: By using the phrase "choose life," the verse implies that humans have the ability to make a decision between the options presented.
3. Responsibility for consequences: The verse indicates that the choice made will affect not only the individual but also their descendants, highlighting the weight of human responsibility.
4. Divine desire for human flourishing: God encourages choosing life, showing His preference for human wellbeing while still allowing free choice.
5. Covenant relationship: This choice is presented in the context of Israel's covenant with God, suggesting that free will plays a role in maintaining this relationship. ==> Matthew 23:39 Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

 

Following Bible verses emphasize the importance of choosing between good and evil:

1. If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
2. "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)
3. "Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it." (Psalm 34:14)

 

이상의 성경 구절들은 인간의 자유의지와 하나님의 주권에 대해 중요한 통찰을 제공합니다. 우리는 선택할 수 있는 능력을 가졌지만, 동시에 하나님의 인도하심과 은혜가 필요함을 알 수 있습니다. 우리의 선택은 중요하며, 그에 따른 결과와 심판이 있을 것입니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리에게 구원의 길을 열어 주셨고, 누구든지 그분께 나아올 수 있도록 초대하십니다. 우리의 구원은 궁극적으로 하나님의 은혜로 인한 것이지만, 우리는 그 은혜에 반응해야 합니다. 이러한 진리들을 깊이 묵상하며 하나님과의 관계 속에서 성장하길 바랍니다. 비록 하나님의 모든 계획을 완전히 이해할 수는 없지만, 그분이 우리에게 계시하신 진리들을 통해 우리는 믿음 안에서 걸어갈 수 있습니다. 이를 통해 은혜복음과 하나님 아는 지식에서 더욱 성장하시길 소망합니다.
