이스라엘에게 약속하신 왕국복음과 사도바올을 통해서 전파되기 시작한 은혜복음에 대하여 하나님은 어떻게 말씀하시는지 관련성경구절을 찾아보았습니다.

 

1. 하나님의 약속

 

아브라함에 대한 약속

 

하나님은 아브라함에게 큰 민족을 이루고 그의 이름을 위대하게 하며, 그를 통해 땅의 모든 족속이 복을 받을 것이라고 약속하셨습니다.

 

"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:" (Genesis 12:2) ("내가 너로부터 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 크게 할 것이니 네가 복이 되리라.") (창세기 12:2)

 

이삭과 야곱에 대한 약속

 

하나님은 이삭과 야곱에게도 아브라함에게 하신 약속을 재확인하셨습니다. 그들의 자손을 통해 땅의 모든 민족이 복을 받을 것이라고 하셨습니다.

모세를 통한 이스라엘에 대한 약속

2. 이스라엘에 대한 약속의 성취

 

약속의 성취 시기

 

이스라엘에 대한 약속은 메시아의 오심과 함께 성취될 것이라고 예언되었습니다. 그러나 이스라엘이 메시아를 거부함으로써 완전한 성취는 미래로 연기되었습니다.

 

"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (Micah 5:2) ("그러나 너 베들레헴 에브라다야, 네가 유다의 수천 가운데서 작을지라도 이스라엘에서 치리자가 될 자가 네게서 내게로 나아오리라. 그의 나아감은 옛적부터 있었으며 영원부터 있었느니라.") (미가 5:2)

 

말라기 선지자의 메시지

 

말라기 선지자는 이스라엘에게 회개와 하나님께로 돌아올 것을 촉구하며, 주의 날이 오기 전에 엘리야와 같은 선지자가 올 것이라고 예언했습니다.

 

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:" (Malachi 4:5) ("보라, 주의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 대언자 엘리야를 너희에게 보내리니") (말라기 4:5)

 

3. 왕국복음의 선포

 

세례 요한의 선포

 

세례 요한은 이스라엘에게 회개를 촉구하며 천국이 가까이 왔다고 선포했습니다.

예수님의 왕국복음 선포

4. 사울의 박해와 변화

 

사울의 박해 이유

 

사울은 예수를 메시아로 믿는 자들이 유대교의 전통을 위협한다고 생각하여 그들을 박해했습니다.

 

"As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison." (Acts 8:3) ("사울로 말하건대 그가 교회를 크게 파괴하고 집집마다 들어가 남자와 여자를 끌어다가 감옥에 넘겼더라.") (사도행전 8:3)

 

다메섹 도상의 만남과 변화

 

다메섹 도상에서 예수님을 만난 후, 사울은 완전히 변화되어 예수가 메시아임을 선포하기 시작했습니다.

5. 베드로의 이방인 구원 이해

 

베드로의 초기 반응

 

베드로는 처음에 이방인 구원에 대해 주저했습니다. 그는 유대인의 전통에 따라 이방인과의 교제를 꺼렸습니다.

환상을 통해 베드로는 점차 하나님의 구원 계획이 이방인도 포함한다는 것을 이해하게 되었습니다.

6. 바울과 베드로의 사도직 구분

 

할례자와 무할례자의 사도

 

바울과 베드로는 예루살렘 회의에서 각각 이방인과 유대인을 위한 사도로 인정받았습니다.

 

"But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;" (Galatians 2:7) ("오히려 그들은 베드로가 할례자들을 위한 복음을 맡은 것 같이 내가 무할례자들을 위한 복음을 맡은 것을 보았나니") (갈라디아서 2:7)

 

베드로의 은혜복음 이해

바울의 사명

 

바울은 죽음을 무릅쓰고 은혜복음을 전파했습니다.

 

"But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God." (Acts 20:24) ("그러나 내가 나의 달려갈 길을 기쁨으로 끝마치고 주 예수님께 받은 사역 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 끝마치려 함에는 이것들 가운데 어떤 것도 조금도 움직이지 아니하며 또한 내 생명을 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라.") (사도행전 20:24)

 

바울의 임종 고백

 

바울은 임종 직전에도 자신이 믿음을 지켰다고 고백했습니다.

 

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" (2 Timothy 4:7) ("내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰은즉") (디모데후서 4:7)

 

8. 복음에 대한 반응

 

이스라엘의 거부

 

대부분의 이스라엘 백성은 예수님을 메시아로 받아들이지 않았습니다.

 

"He came unto his own, and his own received him not." (John 1:11) ("그분께서 자기 백성에게 오시매 그분의 백성이 그분을 받아들이지 아니하였으나") (요한복음 1:11)

 

바울 주변의 상황

 

바울의 사역 말미에는 그를 따르는 사람들이 거의 없었습니다.

 

"At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge." (2 Timothy 4:16) ("내가 처음 답변할 때에 아무도 나와 함께 서지 아니하고 모든 사람이 나를 버렸으나 그것을 그들의 책임으로 돌리지 아니하시기를 원하노라.") (디모데후서 4:16)

 

예수님의 예언

 

예수님은 재림 때 참된 믿음을 가진 사람을 찾기 어려울 것이라고 예언하셨습니다.

 

"Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8) ("그럼에도 불구하고 사람의 아들이 올 때에 땅에서 믿음을 찾아보겠느냐? 하시니라.
