오늘의 단상_정성껏이냐 지식에 따라서냐

 

성경은 우리의 신앙생활에 있어 정성과 지식 모두의 중요성을 강조합니다. 하지만 단순한 열정만으로는 부족하며, 올바른 지식을 바탕으로 한 믿음이 필요함을 가르칩니다. 이에 대해 자세히 살펴보겠습니다.

 

1. 사람의 의냐 하나님의 의냐

 

우리는 종종 우리 자신의 의로움에 의지하려 하지만, 성경은 하나님의 의를 추구해야 함을 가르칩니다.

 

"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3)

 

("그들이 하나님의 의를 알지 못하여 자기 자신의 의를 세우려고 다니면서 하나님의 의에 복종하지 아니하였느니라." - 로마서 10:3)

 

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." (Isaiah 64:6)

 

("그러나 우리는 다 부정한 물건 같아서 우리의 모든 의는 더러운 누더기 같으며 우리는 다 잎사귀같이 시들므로 우리의 불법들이 바람같이 우리를 몰아갔나이다." - 이사야 64:6)

 

2. 사람의 뜻이냐 하나님의 뜻이냐

 

우리의 삶에서 우리 자신의 뜻을 따르기보다는 하나님의 뜻을 구하고 따라야 합니다.

 

"For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me." (John 6:38) ("내가 하늘로부터 내려온 것은 내 뜻을 행하려 함이 아니요, 나를 보내신 분의 뜻을 행하려 함이니라." - 요한복음 6:38)

 

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)

 

("너희는 이 세상에 동화되지 말고 오직 너희 생각을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 받으실 만하며 완전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 입증하도록 하라." - 로마서 12:2)

 

3. 적법하게냐 불법을 행한 자이냐

 

하나님의 법을 따르는 것이 중요하며, 불법을 행하는 것은 하나님의 뜻에 어긋납니다.

 

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

 

("나더러, 주여, 주여, 하는 자가 다 하늘의 왕국에 들어가지는 아니하고 오직 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻을 행하는 자라야 들어가리라." - 마태복음 7:21)

 

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." (1 John 3:4)

 

("누구든지 죄를 범하는 자는 율법도 범하나니 죄는 율법을 범하는 것이니라." - 요한일서 3:4)

 

4. 이스라엘이 하나님 향한 열심은 있으나 지식에 따른 것이 아니다

 

열심만으로는 부족하며, 올바른 지식을 바탕으로 한 믿음이 필요합니다.

 

"For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge." (Romans 10:2)

 

("내가 그들에 대해 증언하노니 그들이 하나님께 대한 열심은 있으나 지식에 따른 것이 아니니라." - 로마서 10:2)

 

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." (Hosea 4:6)

 

("내 백성이 지식이 부족하므로 망하는도다. 네가 지식을 거부하였으므로 나도 너를 거부하여 네가 나를 위해 제사장이 되지 못하게 할 것이요, 네가 네 하나님의 율법을 잊었은즉 나도 네 자녀들을 잊으리라." - 호세아 4:6)

 

5. 가인 쪽이냐 아벨 쪽이냐

 

우리는 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 방식으로 예배드려야 합니다.

 

"And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell." (Genesis 4:3-5)

 

("시간이 흐른 뒤에 가인은 땅의 열매를 가져와 주께 헌물로 드렸고 아벨도 자기 양 떼의 첫 새끼들과 그것들의 기름을 가져왔는데 주께서 아벨과 그의 헌물은 받아 주셨으나 가인과 그의 헌물은 받아 주지 아니하셨으므로 가인이 몹시 분을 내고 그의 얼굴빛이 변하니라." - 창세기 4:3-5)

 

"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh." (Hebrews 11:4)

 

("믿음으로 아벨은 가인보다 더 뛰어난 희생물을 하나님께 드림으로 의로운 자라는 증거를 얻었으니 하나님께서 그의 예물들에 대하여 증언하셨느니라. 그가 죽었으나 믿음으로 여전히 말하고 있느니라." - 히브리서 11:4)

 

6. 종교적 열심은 하나님 앞에 헛된 것이다

 

단순한 종교적 행위나 열심보다는 진실한 믿음과 순종이 중요합니다.

 

"But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matthew 15:9)

 

("그러나 그들이 사람들의 명령들을 교리로 가르치며 내게 헛되이 경배하는도다, 하였느니라." - 마태복음 15:9)

 

"For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge." (Romans 10:2)

 

("내가 그들에 대해 증언하노니 그들이 하나님께 대한 열심은 있으나 지식에 따른 것이 아니니라." - 로마서 10:2)

 

7. 아는 것이 먼저다 행함은 그다음 문제야

 

올바른 지식을 바탕으로 한 행동이 중요합니다.

 

"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;" (Philippians 1:9)

 

("내가 이것을 기도하노니 너희의 사랑이 지식과 모든 판단에서 더욱더 풍성해지어" - 빌립보서 1:9)

 

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)

 

("너는 진리의 말씀을 바르게 나누어 네 자신을 하나님께 인정받은 자로, 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 나타내도록 연구하라." - 디모데후서 2:15)

 

8. 아는 것도 제대로 아는 것이 중요하다

 

올바른 지식을 갖추는 것이 중요합니다.

 

"Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2 Timothy 3:7)

 

("항상 배우나 결코 진리의 지식에 이르지 못하느니라." - 디모데후서 3:7)

 

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" (2 Timothy 4:3)

 

("때가 이르리니 그들이 건전한 교리를 견디지 못하며 귀가 가려워 자기 욕심대로 자기를 위해 선생들을 쌓아 두고" - 디모데후서 4:3)

 

9. 처음부터 속이는 자, 사단이 있었다는 것을 기억하라

 

사탄의 존재와 그의 속임수를 항상 경계해야 합니다.

 

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." (Revelation 12:9)

 

("그 큰 용 즉 저 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사탄이라고도 하며 온 세상을 속이는 자가 내쫓기더라. 그가 땅으로 내쫓기니 그의 천사들도 그와 함께 내쫓기니라." - 요한계시록 12:9)

 

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44)

 

("너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으므로 너희 아비의 욕망들을 행하려 하느니라. 그는 처음부터 살인자요 진리 가운데 거하지 아니하였으니 이는 그 속에 진리가 없기 때문이라. 그가 거짓말을 할 때에 자기의 본성에서 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말쟁이요 거짓의 아비이기 때문이라." - 요한복음 8:44)

 

10. 사탄은 아주 간교한 자라 속이는 일에 능숙하다

 

사탄의 교묘한 속임수를 주의해야 합니다.

 

"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14)

 

("그것은 결코 놀랄 일이 아니니 사탄도 자신을 빛의 천사로 가장하느니라." - 고린도후서 11:14)

 

"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." (2 Corinthians 2:11)

 

("이것은 사탄이 우리를 이용하지 못하게 하려 함이라. 우리는 그의 계략들에 대해 무지하지 아니하노라." - 고린도후서 2:11)

 

11. 속지 않도록 늘 경계하고 조심하라

 

항상 깨어 있어 영적인 속임수를 조심해야 합니다.

 

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" (1 Peter 5:8)

 

("정신을 차리라. 깨어 있으라. 너희 대적 마귀가 울부짖는 사자같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니" - 베드로전서 5:8)

 

"Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak." (Mark 14:38)

 

("너희가 시험에 빠지지 않게 깨어 기도하라. 참으로 영은 준비되어 있으나 육체가 약하도다, 하시니라." - 마가복음 14:38)

 

12. 설교가 정말로 성경에 응하는지 여부를 살펴야 한다

 

우리는 들은 말씀이 성경과 일치하는지 주의 깊게 살펴봐야 합니다.

 

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11)

 

("이들은 데살로니가에 있던 자들보다 더 고귀하여 온전히 준비된 마음으로 말씀을 받아들이고 그것들이 그러한가 하여 날마다 성경 기록들을 탐구하므로" - 사도행전 17:11)

"

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)

 

("사랑하는 자들아, 영을 다 믿지 말고 오직 그 영들이 하나님께 속하였는지 시험하라. 이는 많은 거짓 대언자들이 세상에 나왔음이니라." - 요한일서 4:1)

 

13. 잘못 알고 가르치면 어떻게 되는가:

 

"My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation." (James 3:1)

 

("내 형제들아, 너희는 많이 선생이 되지 말라. 우리가 더 큰 정죄를 받을 줄 앎이라." - 야고보서 3:1)

 

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:8)

 

("그러나 우리나 혹은 하늘로부터 온 천사라도 우리가 너희에게 선포한 복음 외에 다른 복음을 너희에게 선포하면 그는 저주를 받을지어다." - 갈라디아서 1:8)

 

14. 소경이 소경을 인도하면:

 

"Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." (Matthew 15:14)

 

("그들을 내버려 두라. 그들은 눈먼 자들을 인도하는 눈먼 인도자들이니라. 만일 눈먼 자가 눈먼 자를 인도하면 둘 다 도랑에 빠지리라, 하시니라." - 마태복음 15:14)

 

15. 화 있을지어다:

 

"But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." (Matthew 23:13)

 

("그러나 서기관들과 바리새인들, 위선자들아, 너희에게 화가 있을지어다! 너희가 사람들 앞에서 하늘의 왕국을 닫고 너희도 들어가지 아니하고 들어가려 하는 자들도 들어가지 못하게 하는도다." - 마태복음 23:13)

 

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." (Matthew 23:27)

 

("서기관들과 바리새인들, 위선자들아, 너희에게 화가 있을지어다! 너희는 회칠한 돌무덤 같도다. 그것은 겉으로는 참으로 아름답게 보이나 속에는 죽은 사람의 뼈와 모든 부정한 것으로 가득하도다." - 마태복음 23:27)

 

16. 둘 다 넘어진다:

 

"Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." (Matthew 15:14)

 

("그들을 내버려 두라. 그들은 눈먼 자들을 인도하는 눈먼 인도자들이니라. 만일 눈먼 자가 눈먼 자를 인도하면 둘 다 도랑에 빠지리라, 하시니라." - 마태복음 15:14)

 

17. 모르는 것이 있거든 장로나 아비에게 물으라:

 

"Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee." (Deuteronomy 32:7)

 

("옛날들을 기억하고 많은 세대의 연수를 깊이 생각하라. 네 아버지에게 물으라. 그가 네게 보여 주리라. 네 장로들에게 물으라. 그들이 네게 말하리라." - 신명기 32:7)

 

18. 잘 가르치는 장로를 두 배나 더 존경하라:

 

"Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine." (1 Timothy 5:17)

 

("잘 다스리는 장로들을 두 배나 존경할 자로 여기되 특히 말씀과 교리에 수고하는 자들에게 그리할지니라." - 디모데전서 5:17)

 

19. 하지만 선생이 되려 하지 말라 그 책임을 두 배나 묻겠다:

 

"My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation." (James 3:1)

 

("내 형제들아, 너희는 많이 선생이 되지 말라. 우리가 더 큰 정죄를 받을 줄 앎이라." - 야고보서 3:1)

 

20. 예 할 것은 예하고 아니요 할 것은 아니요 하라:

 

"But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." (Matthew 5:37)

 

("오직 너희 말은, 예, 예, 아니요, 아니요, 하라. 무엇이든 이것들 이상의 것은 악에서 나오느니라." - 마태복음 5:37)

 

20. 이제는 어떻게 믿고 있는지 스스로 점검해야 한다:

 

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" (2 Corinthians 13:5)

 

("너희가 믿음 안에 있는지 너희 자신을 살펴보고 너희 자신을 입증하라. 예수 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐? 그렇지 않으면 너희는 버림받은 자니라." - 고린도후서 13:5)
