오늘의 단상_KJV Bible 우수성

esmile1 2024. 9. 16. 16:14

KJV 성경의 우수성에 대한 입장을 살펴보겠습니다.

1. only the King James Bible, citing its beauty, majesty, and perfection.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)

(너는 진리의 말씀을 바르게 나누어 네 자신을 하나님께 인정받은 자로, 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 나타내도록 연구하라.)

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

(하나님의 말씀은 살아 있고 권능이 있으며 양날 달린 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 둘로 나누기까지 하고 또 마음의 생각과 의도를 분별하는 분이시니)

2. KJV from the correct line of manuscripts, originating in Antioch.

"And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." (Acts 11:26)

(제자들이 안디옥에서 처음으로 그리스도인이라 불리니라.)

"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;" (2 Timothy 3:14)

(그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일들 안에 거하라. 네가 그것들을 누구에게서 배웠는지 알며)

3. other Bible versions, from corrupt texts.

"For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ." (2 Corinthians 2:17)

(우리는 하나님의 말씀을 부패시키는 많은 사람들 같지 아니하고 오직 진실함에서 난 자같이, 하나님에게서 난 자같이 하나님의 눈앞에서 그리스도 안에서 말하노라.)

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2)

(내가 너희에게 명령하는 말에 너희는 더하지 말고 거기에서 빼지도 말고 내가 너희에게 명령하는 주 너희 하나님의 명령들을 지키라.)

4. the preservation of God's word through generations.

"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." (Psalm 12:6-7)

(주의 말씀들은 순수한 말씀들이니 흙 도가니에서 정제하여 일곱 번 순수하게 만든 은 같도다. 오 주여, 주께서 그것들을 지키시며 주께서 그것들을 이 세대로부터 영원히 보존하시리이다.)

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35)

(하늘과 땅은 없어지겠으나 내 말들은 없어지지 아니하리라.)

5. numerical patterns and coincidences in the King James Bible.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)

(처음에 하나님께서 하늘과 땅을 창조하시니라.)

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" (Romans 1:20)

(그분의 보이지 아니하는 것들 곧 그분의 영원하신 권능과 신격은 창세로부터 분명히 보이며 만들어진 것들을 통해 깨달아 알 수 있나니 그러므로 그들이 변명할 수 없느니라.)

6. the King James Bible is not archaic and hard to understand.

"For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:" (Proverbs 6:23)

(명령은 등불이요, 법은 빛이며 훈계의 책망은 생명의 길이니)

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

(주의 말씀은 내 발에 등불이요, 내 길에 빛이니이다.)

7. the Gothic font used in the original King James Bible.

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." (Habakkuk 2:2)

(주께서 내게 응답하여 이르시되, 너는 그 환상을 기록하고 판들 위에 분명하게 새겨 달려가면서도 그것을 읽게 하라.)

"And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:" (Deuteronomy 17:18)

(그가 자기 왕국의 왕좌에 앉거든 자기를 위해 레위 사람 제사장들 앞에 있는 그것에서 이 율법을 책에 베껴 기록하여)

8. the Apocrypha and its potential use in discussions with Jewish people.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16)

(모든 성경 기록은 하나님의 영감으로 주신 것으로 교리와 책망과 바로잡음과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니)

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39)

(성경 기록들을 탐구하라. 너희가 그것들 안에서 영원한 생명을 얻는 줄로 생각하거니와 그것들이 바로 나에 대하여 증언하는 것들이니라.)

9. the Bible Code and hidden patterns in the Hebrew Old Testament.

"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2)

(일을 숨기는 것은 하나님의 영광이요, 일을 찾아내는 것은 왕들의 영광이니라.)

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them." (Isaiah 34:16)

(너희는 주의 책에서 찾아 읽어 보라. 이것들 중 하나도 빠진 것이 없고 자기 짝이 없는 것이 없으리니 이는 내 입이 그것을 명령하였고 그분의 영이 그것들을 모으셨느니라.)

10. the importance of studying and understanding the Bible deeply.

"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)

(오직 은혜와 우리 주 곧 구원자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것에서 자라 가라. 그분께 영광이 이제와 영원토록 있기를 원하노라. 아멘.)

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11)

(이들은 데살로니가에 있던 자들보다 더 고귀하여 온전히 준비된 마음으로 말씀을 받아들이고 그것들이 그러한가 하여 날마다 성경 기록들을 탐구하므로)

< 발표자료 요약 >

The speaker advocates for the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, emphasizing its perfection and claiming that all other Bible versions are corrupted or based on faulty texts. He points to textual origins, stating the KJV comes from the Greek New Testament and Hebrew Old Testament sources, whereas other versions stem from corrupted Alexandrian texts.

He argues that the KJV is the most accurate Bible, criticizing modern Bible translations and their translators as untrustworthy, often labeling them as liberal, ungodly, or sinful. He further suggests that new versions of the Bible remove important doctrinal passages and verses, thus corrupting their content.

The speaker brings up a concept known as "Bible codes" and mathematical patterns, claiming that the KJV has inherent mathematical perfection, such as the frequent appearance of the number seven, and asserts that this proves divine inspiration.

He praises the King James Bible Museum and other institutions dedicated to the KJV, expressing his belief that thorough study leads to conviction of its truth. He discusses his visit to a museum and how it further solidified his belief in the superiority of the KJV.

Throughout the talk, he dismisses arguments against the KJV's archaic language, claiming it's not difficult to understand, and critiques the academic practice of textual criticism, associating it with an erosion of faith and Biblical truth.
