오늘의 단상_복음은 하나뿐인가

 

성경에 대한 무지 혹은 무관심한 사람들에게는 쉽게 놓칠 수 있는 부분입니다. 하지만 과연 복음은 하나뿐인가 혹은 여러 개인가, 서로간 어떤 차이가 있는가 등 궁금한 부분에 대하여 관련된 성경구절을 찾아면서 복음에 대한 바른 이해와 배움을 얻고자 합니다.

 

1. 바울의 복음과 다른 사도들의 복음

 

Galatians 2:7

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

 

(오히려 반대로 베드로가 할례자를 위한 복음을 맡은 것 같이 내가 무할례자를 위한 복음을 맡은 것을 그들이 보았나니)

 

Galatians 2:9

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

 

(또 기둥같이 여겨지던 야고보와 게바와 요한은 내게 주신 은혜를 깨닫고 나와 바나바에게 오른손을 내밀어 교제를 청하였으니 이것은 우리는 이교도들에게로 가고 그들은 할례자들에게로 가고자 함이라)

 

Romans 11:13

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

 

(내가 이방인들인 너희에게 말하노라. 내가 이방인들의 사도인 만큼 내 직무를 영화롭게 하나니)

 

1 Corinthians 9:17

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

 

(내가 자원하여 이 일을 하면 보상을 얻으려니와 내 뜻에 반하여 한다 할지라도 복음의 분배 사역을 내가 맡았노라.)

 

2. 은혜시대의 복음

 

Romans 5:11

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

 

(그러할 뿐 아니라 우리가 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 이제 속죄를 받았으므로 그분을 통해 하나님을 기뻐하느니라)

 

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

 

(너희가 믿음을 통해 은혜로 구원을 받았나니 그것은 너희 자신에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이니라. 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이것은 아무도 자랑하지 못하게 하려 함이라)

 

Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

 

(그분께서 우리를 구원하시되 우리가 행한 의로운 행위로 하지 아니하시고 오직 자신의 긍휼에 따라 다시 태어남의 씻음과 성령님의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨고)

 

Romans 3:24

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

3. 베드로와 야고보의 복음

 

James 2:24

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

 

(그런즉 너희가 보거니와 사람이 행위로 의롭게 되고 단지 믿음만으로 되지 아니하느니라)

 

1 Peter 1:9

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

 

(너희 믿음의 결말 곧 너희 혼의 구원을 받았느니라)

 

James 2:17

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

 

(이와 같이 행위가 없는 믿음은 그것만으로는 죽은 것이니라.)

 

1 Peter 2:21

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

 

(참으로 너희가 심지어 그 일을 위해 부르심을 받았나니 그리스도께서도 우리를 위해 고난을 당하심으로 우리에게 본을 남기사 너희가 자신의 발자취를 따라오게 하셨느니라.)

 

4. 환란기 유대인들을 위한 메시지

 

James 2:15-16

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

 

(만일 형제나 자매가 헐벗고 일용할 양식이 없는데 너희 중에 누가 그들에게 이르되, 평안히 떠나가라. 너희는 따듯하게 하고 배부르게 하라, 하고는 몸에 필요한 그것들을 너희가 그들에게 주지 아니하면 그것이 무슨 유익을 주느냐?)

 

1 Peter 1:13

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

 

(그러므로 너희 마음의 허리를 동이고 정신을 차려 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 너희에게 가져오실 그 은혜로 인해 끝까지 소망을 가질지어다)

 

Matthew 24:13

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

 

(그러나 끝까지 견디는 자 곧 그는 구원을 받으리라.)

 

Revelation 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

 

(여기에 성도들의 인내가 있나니 여기에 하나님의 명령들과 예수님의 믿음을 지키는 자들이 있느니라.)

 

5. 주요 관련성경구절

 

바울의 복음은 이전에 예수님과 사도들이 전하던 복음과 다르다. 이는 갈라디아서에서 명확히 드러난다:

 

갈라디아서 2:2 (KJV) "And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain." (갈라디아서 2:2) (나는 계시로 말미암아 올라가 내가 이방인들 가운데서 선포하는 그 복음을 그들에게 전달하되...)

마태복음 10:23 (KJV) "But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come." 구원의 보장

바울의 서신에서 구원의 보장이 NOW로 언급되지만, 베드로전서는 '끝까지' 소망을 가지라고 말한다:

이와 같이, 바울의 복음은 예수님과 사도들이 전하던 복음과 본질적으로 다르다는 것을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 각각의 사역과 복음이 주어진 맥락과 대상에 따라 다르게 전달되었음을 기억해야 한다.
