오늘의 단상_하나님아는 지식에서 새롭게 되라

 

 

생명의 탄생, 죽음, 창조주 하나님, 세상의 끝, 죽음이후의 심판 등 많은 주제에 있어서 판단의 기준이 되는 지식에는 크게 두 가지 갈림길이 있습니다. 하나님은 이와 관련하여 어떻게 말씀하시는지 성경구절을 찾아보겠습니다.

 

1. 지식의 근원과 중요성

 

하나님의 지식은 모든 참된 지혜와 이해의 근원입니다. 성경은 이를 다음과 같이 말씀합니다:

 

"For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."

 

(주께서 지혜를 주시며 그분의 입에서 지식과 명철이 나오느니라.)[Proverbs 2:6]

 

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

 

(주를 두려워하는 것이 지식의 시작이거늘 어리석은 자들은 지혜와 훈계를 멸시하느니라.)[Proverbs 1:7]

 

2. 올바른 지식의 추구

 

우리는 하나님을 아는 지식에서 자라가야 합니다. 이는 영적 성장의 핵심입니다.

 

"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."

 

(오직 은혜와 우리 주 곧 구원자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것에서 자라 가라. 그분께 영광이 이제와 영원토록 있기를 원하노라. 아멘.)[2 Peter 3:18]

 

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

 

(너희가 모든 일에서 주를 기쁘게 하고자 그분께 합당하게 걸으며 모든 선한 일에서 열매를 맺고 하나님을 아는 것에서 자라나며)[Colossians 1:10]

 

3. 잘못된 지식의 위험성

 

잘못된 지식은 심각한 결과를 초래할 수 있습니다. 우리는 항상 주의해야 합니다.

 

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

 

(내 백성이 지식이 부족하므로 망하는도다. 네가 지식을 거부하였으므로 나도 너를 거부하여 네가 나를 위해 제사장이 되지 못하게 할 것이요, 네가 네 하나님의 율법을 잊었은즉 나도 네 자녀들을 잊으리라.)[Hosea 4:6]

 

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."

 

(아무도 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 노략하지 못하도록 조심하라. 그것들은 사람들의 전통과 세상의 유치한 원리들을 따르는 것이요 그리스도를 따르는 것이 아니니라.)[Colossians 2:8]

 

4. 하늘의 지식과 땅의 지식

 

우리는 하늘의 지식을 추구해야 하며, 땅의 지식에 현혹되지 말아야 합니다.

 

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God."

 

(그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 일으켜졌거든 위에 있는 그것들을 추구하라. 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님의 오른편에 앉아 계시느니라.)[Colossians 3:1]

 

"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

 

(위에 있는 것들에 너희의 애착을 두고 땅에 있는 것들에 두지 말라.)[Colossians 3:2]

 

5. 지식의 갱신

 

우리는 끊임없이 우리의 지식을 새롭게 해야 합니다.

 

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

 

너희는 이 세상에 동화되지 말고 오직 너희 생각을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 받으실 만하며 완전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 입증하도록 하라.)[Romans 12:2]

 

"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;"

 

(이전 행실에 관하여는 너희가 속였던 것에 따라 부패한 옛 사람을 벗어 버리고 너희 생각의 영 안에서 새롭게 되어)[Ephesians 4:22-23]

 

6. 거짓 지식의 근원

 

세상의 거짓된 지식은 사탄으로부터 옵니다.

 

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

 

(너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으므로 너희 아비의 욕망들을 행하려 하느니라. 그는 처음부터 살인자요 자기 속에 진리가 없으므로 진리 안에 거하지 아니하고 거짓말을 할 때에 자기의 것으로 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말쟁이요 거짓의 아비이기 때문이라.)[John 8:44]

 

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"

 

(이제 성령께서 분명히 말씀하시기를 마지막 때에 어떤 사람들이 믿음에서 떠나 유혹하는 영들과 마귀들의 교리들에 주의를 기울이리라 하시는데)[1 Timothy 4:1]

 

7. 거짓 교사들을 조심하라

 

많은 거짓 교사들이 있으므로 우리는 주의해야 합니다.

 

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

 

(거짓 대언자들을 조심하라. 그들은 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속은 약탈하는 이리니라.)[Matthew 7:15]

 

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ."

 

(그런 자들은 거짓 사도요 속이는 일꾼이며 자기를 그리스도의 사도로 가장하는 자들이니라.)[2 Corinthians 11:13]

 

8. 세상의 지혜와 하나님의 지혜

 

세상의 지혜는 하나님의 지혜와 대조됩니다.

 

"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness."

 

(이 세상의 지혜는 하나님께 어리석은 것이니라. 기록된바, 그분께서 지혜로운 자들을 자기 꾀에 빠지게 하시느니라, 하였고)[1 Corinthians 3:19]

 

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."

 

(오직 위로부터 난 지혜는 첫째 순수하고 다음으로 화평하며 부드럽고 간청을 잘 들어주며 긍휼과 선한 열매로 가득하고 차별이 없고 위선이 없나니)[James 3:17]

 

9. 생명과 죽음에 대한 지식

 

하나님의 말씀은 생명과 죽음에 대해 명확히 가르칩니다.

 

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

 

(한 번 죽는 것은 사람들에게 정해진 것이요 이것 뒤에는 심판이 있나니)[Hebrews 9:27]

 

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

 

(하나님께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 자신의 독생자를 주셨으니 이것은 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 멸망하지 않고 영존하는 생명을 얻게 하려 하심이라.)[John 3:16]

 

10. 섬김의 본질

 

하나님은 우리에게 서로 섬기라고 가르치십니다.

 

"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant."

 

(너희 가운데 가장 큰 자는 너희 종이 될지니라.)[Matthew 23:11]

 

"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."

 

(사람의 아들도 섬김을 받으러 오지 아니하고 도리어 섬기며 자기 생명을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려고 왔느니라, 하시니라.)[Mark 10:45]

 

11. 하나님에 대한 올바른 지식

 

하나님은 유일한 창조주이십니다.

 

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

 

(한 하나님이 계시고 하나님과 사람들 사이에 한 중재자가 계시니 곧 사람이신 그리스도 예수님이시라.)[1 Timothy 2:5]

 

"I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:"

 

(나는 주니라. 나 외에는 다른 이가 없나니 나 외에는 신이 없느니라. 네가 나를 알지 못하였을지라도 내가 네 띠를 동일 것이요,)[Isaiah 45:5]

 

12. 영적 우선순위

 

우리는 하늘의 일에 더 큰 가치를 두어야 합니다.

 

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

 

(오직 너희는 첫째로 하나님의 왕국과 그분의 의를 구하라. 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라.)[Matthew 6:33]

 

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:"

 

(너희 자신을 위해 보물을 땅에 쌓아 두지 말라. 거기서는 좀과 녹이 부패시키며 거기서는 도둑들이 뚫고 들어와 도둑질하느니라. 오직 너희 자신을 위해 보물을 하늘에 쌓아 두라. 거기서는 좀과 녹이 부패시키지 아니하며 거기서는 도둑들이 뚫고 들어오지도 못하고 도둑질하지도 못하느니라.)[Matthew 6:19-20]

 

마무리

 

우리는 끊임없이 우리의 지식을 점검하고 갱신해야 합니다.

 

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"

 

(너희가 믿음 안에 있는지 너희 자신을 살펴보고 너희 자신을 입증하라. 예수 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐? 그렇지 않으면 너희는 버림받은 자니라.)[2 Corinthians 13:5]

 

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

이러한 성경 구절들을 통해 우리는 올바른 지식의 중요성과 그것을 추구하는 방법을 배울 수 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀을 통해 우리의 지식을 끊임없이 새롭게 하고, 세상의 거짓된 지혜를 분별하며, 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 삶을 살아가야 합니다.

(그러나 백성 가운데 거짓 대언자들이 있었던 것 같이 너희 가운데도 거짓 교사들이 있으리니 그들은 정죄 받을 이단 교리들을 몰래 들여와 심지어 자기들을 사신 주를 부인하고 자기들 위에 신속한 파멸을 가져오리라.)

 

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3)

(너는 내 앞에 다른 신들을 두지 말라.)

 

"They served their idols: which were a snare unto them." (Psalm 106:36)

(그들이 자기들의 우상들을 섬기매 그것들이 그들에게 올무가 되었도다.)

 

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." (Matthew 25:46)

(그리하여 이들은 영존하는 형벌에 들어가되 의로운 자들은 영원한 생명에 들어가리라, 하시니라.)

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools," (Romans 1:22)

(그들은 스스로 지혜롭다 주장하나 어리석은 자가 되어)

 

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." (John 3:19)

(정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어둠을 더 사랑한 것이니라.)

 

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14)
