1. 성경의 권위와 완전성
성경은 하나님의 말씀으로서 우리 신앙과 삶의 유일한 기준입니다. 우리는 성경의 가르침을 따라 살아야 합니다.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
(하나님의 말씀은 살아 있고 권능이 있으며 양날 달린 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 둘로 나누기까지 하고 또 마음의 생각과 의도를 분별하는 분이시니)[Hebrews 4:12]
2. 예수 그리스도의 신성
예수님은 하나님의 아들이시며 완전한 하나님이십니다. 이를 부인하는 주장은 성경의 가르침에 어긋납니다.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
(처음에 말씀이 계셨고 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으며 말씀이 하나님이셨더라.)[John 1:1]
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
(논쟁의 여지가 없이 하나님의 성품의 신비는 위대하도다. 하나님께서 육체 안에 나타나시고 성령 안에서 의롭게 되시고 천사들에게 보이시고 이방인들에게 선포되시고 세상에서 믿기시고 영광 속으로 올려져서 영접을 받으셨느니라.)[1 Timothy 3:16]
3. 구원의 완전성
예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 이루신 구원의 사역은 완전하고 영원합니다. 우리는 이 구원을 믿음으로 받아들입니다.
"It is finished." (다 이루었다)[John 19:30]
"For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified."
(그분께서는 거룩히 구별된 자들을 단 한 번의 헌물로 영원토록 완전하게 하셨느니라.)[Hebrews 10:14]
4. 율법의 목적과 한계
율법은 우리의 죄를 깨닫게 하지만, 구원은 오직 예수 그리스도를 통해서만 옵니다.
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."
(그러므로 율법의 행위로는 어떤 육체도 그분의 눈앞에서 의롭게 될 수 없나니 율법으로는 죄를 알게 되느니라.)[Romans 3:20]
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."
(그리스도께서는 믿는 모든 자에게 의가 되시기 위하여 율법의 끝마침이 되시느니라.)[Romans 10:4]
5. 안식일과 절기에 대한 올바른 이해
모세율법에 따른 이스라엘이 감당해야 했던 무거운 짐들과 예수 그리스도가 십자가에서 다 이루었다 하신말씀에 따른 은혜복음을 올바르게 나누어 이해해야 합니다. 그 차이점에 주목해야 합니다.
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
(그러므로 아무도 먹는 것이나 마시는 것으로 인하여 또 거룩한 날이나 월삭이나 안식일에 관하여 너희를 판단하지 못하게 하라.)[Colossians 2:16]
"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."
(어떤 사람은 이 날을 저 날보다 귀히 여기고 어떤 사람은 모든 날을 같게 여기나니 각 사람은 자기 마음에서 완전히 확신할지니라.)[Romans 14:5]
6. 음식 규례의 의미
신약에서는 음식에 대한 구약의 규례가 더 이상 적용되지 않음을 가르칩니다.
"There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man."
(사람 밖에서 사람 속으로 들어가는 것은 아무것도 그를 더럽힐 수 없으되)[Mark 7:15]
"For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:"
(하나님의 모든 창조물이 선하고 감사함으로 받으면 거부할 것이 하나도 없나니)[1 Timothy 4:4]
7. 십일조와 헌금의 원리
십일조는 구약의 율법이지만, 신약에서는 자원하는 마음으로 드리는 것을 강조합니다.
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
(각 사람이 자기 마음에서 정한 대로 할 것이요, 마지못해 하거나 억지로 하지 말지니 하나님은 즐거이 내는 자를 사랑하시느니라.)[2 Corinthians 9:7]
"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
(다만 내가 말하려는 바는 이것이니 곧 인색하게 뿌리는 자는 또한 인색하게 거둘 것이요, 풍성하게 뿌리는 자는 또한 풍성하게 거두리라는 것이라.)[2 Corinthians 9:6]
8. 성경 해석의 중요성
성경을 올바르게 해석하는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 잘못된 해석은 잘못된 교리와 실천으로 이어질 수 있습니다.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
(너는 진리의 말씀을 바르게 나누어 네 자신을 하나님께 인정받은 자로, 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 나타내도록 연구하라.)[2 Timothy 2:15]
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."
(먼저 이것을 알라. 성경 기록의 대언은 결코 사적인 해석에서 나지 아니하였나니)[2 Peter 1:20]
9. 그리스도 안에서의 자유
예수 그리스도가 사람의 죄들을 대속하기 위한 하나님계획을 성취하기 위해서 성경기록대로 십자가에 죽으시고, 땅에 묻히시고, 성경기록대로 제 3일에 무덤에서 일어나신 단한번 완전히 영원토록 유효한 대속의 일을 받아들여야 합니다.
이렇게 믿는 그리스도인은 사망에서 이미 생명으로 옮겨졌다는 성경말씀을 신뢰해야 합니다. 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 믿음으로 주어진 구원은 사람들의 노력이 아닌 하나님의 선물이라는 말씀을 믿어야 합니다. 이 은혜복음안에서 참된 자유를 누리며 은혜복음과 하나님아는 지식에서 자라나도록 부지런히 하나님말씀을 공부해야 합니다.
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
(그리스도께서 우리를 자유롭게 하신 그 자유 안에 굳게 서고 다시는 속박의 멍에를 메지 말라.)[Galatians 5:1]
"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."
(형제들아, 너희가 자유에 이르도록 부르심을 받았으나 오직 자유를 육신을 위한 기회로 쓰지 말고 사랑으로 서로를 섬기라.)[Galatians 5:13]
10. 영적 분별력의 필요성
우리는 모든 것을 성경의 가르침에 비추어 분별해야 합니다.
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
(사랑하는 자들아, 영을 다 믿지 말고 오직 그 영들이 하나님께 속하였는지 시험하라. 이는 많은 거짓 대언자들이 세상에 나갔음이라.)[1 John 4:1]
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
(모든 것을 시험해 보고 선한 것을 굳게 붙들라.)[1 Thessalonians 5:21]
하나님께 속하지 않은 영, 거짓대언자들이 세상에 있다는 것과 성경말씀을 억지로 풀다가 패망에 빠진 사람들이 사도시대에도 있었다는 베드로의 말에 주목해야 합니다.
모든 것을 주의깊게 살펴보고 하나님이 인정하는 선하고, 받으실만한 온전한 뜻이 무엇인지 분별해야 합니다. 성경을 주의 깊게 읽고 연구하며, 바른 가르침을 삶에 적용하도록 노력해야 합니다.
11. 그리스도의 완전한 제사
예수 그리스도께서는 완전하고 영원한 제사를 드리셨으므로, 더 이상의 제사가 필요 없습니다.
"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;"
(오직 이 사람은 죄들로 인해 한 희생물을 영원히 드리신 뒤에 하나님의 오른편에 앉으사)[Hebrews 10:12]
"For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified."
(그분께서는 거룩히 구별된 자들을 단 한 번의 헌물로 영원토록 완전하게 하셨느니라.)[Hebrews 10:14]
12. 율법과 은혜의 관계
율법으로 인하여 우리가 죄인 인것을 알게됩니다. 우리가 율법아래 있지않고 은혜아래 있다는 것은 율법에 대하여 이미 죽었고, 지금 육체가운데 살고 있는 것은 우리를 사랑하사 우리를 대신하여 율법으로 인한 대속의 죽음으로 갚은신 예수 그리스도 안에 살고있다는 것입니다. 그러므로 죄가 우리를 지배할 수 없습니다.
"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."
(죄가 너희를 지배하지 못하리니 이는 너희가 율법 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래 있기 때문이니라.)[Romans 6:14]
"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
(그런즉 우리가 믿음을 통해 율법을 무효로 만드느냐? 결코 그럴 수 없느니라. 참으로 우리가 율법을 굳게 세우느니라.)[Romans 3:31]
13. 영적 분별력의 중요성
올바른 지식과 분별력은 신앙생활에 매우 중요합니다.
"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;"
(내가 이것을 기도하노니 너희의 사랑이 지식과 모든 판단에서 더욱더 풍성해지어)[Philippians 1:9]
"But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
(그러나 단단한 음식은 장성한 자들에게 속하나니 그들은 그것을 사용하여 자기 감각들을 단련시킴으로 선악을 분별하는 자들이니라.)[Hebrews 5:14]
14. 거짓 가르침에 대한 경계
우리는 성경의 진리에 어긋나는 가르침을 조심해야 합니다.
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
(아무도 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 노략하지 못하도록 조심하라. 그것들은 사람들의 전통과 세상의 유치한 원리들을 따르는 것이요 그리스도를 따르는 것이 아니니라.)[Colossians 2:8]
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"

15. 성경의 완전성과 충족성
성경은 우리의 신앙과 삶에 필요한 모든 것을 담고 있습니다.

16. 그리스도 안에서의 새 생명

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

17. 성령의 인도하심
우리는 성령의 인도하심을 따라 살아야 합니다.

(위로자 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령님 그분께서 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치시고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 기억나게 하시리라.)[John 14:26]
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
(하나님의 영에 의해 인도 받는 자들은 다 하나님의 아들들이니)[Romans 8:14]
